Assistant Professor Alexandros Charalambides re-elected at Board of Directors of International Solar Energy Society

Dr Alexandros Charalambides, Assistant Professor at the Department of Environmental Science and Technology of the Cyprus University of Technology has been re-elected on the Board of Directors of the International Solar Energy Society for the 2016-17 term.

International Solar Energy Society (ISES), an international non-profit UN-accredited membership NGO founded in 1954, has a long history of acting as the trusted global advisor on renewable energy and this remains its core value. ISES works to achieve 100% renewable energy for all, used efficiently and wisely, by providing the global renewable energy community with a collective, scientifically credible voice and up-to-date information gathered and synthesized by its talented members.

Through this position, Dr Alexandros Charalambides will work for the promotion of entrepreneurship in the “solar academic community”, aiming for a better penetration of research-based products to the global market.
