Dr Maria Konstantinou

Dr. Maria Konstantinou is a graduate of the School of Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences of the National Technical University of Athens and holds a PhD in Statistics from the School of Mathematics of the University of Southampton. After the completion of her PhD studies she has worked as a postdoctoral researcher fellow at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum in Germany where she also served as head of the Design of Experiments workgroup and was a member of the statistical consulting team offered by the University.

Her research interests include optimal designs, correlated observations, nonparametric regression, deconvolution problems and estimation under the Bayesian framework. More recently, Dr. Konstantinou has been working in the field of statistical machine learning with a focus in statistical signal processing.
